After two Bitburgers, four movies, and a few hours of intermittent sleep we finally arrived in Detroit, Michigan for our first stop of the day. Other than the ceiling panel that fell out of place when we landed it was a pretty uneventful flight.
With the new automated machines they use for Border Patrol we actually made it “officially” into the US pretty quickly, especially when compared to previout trips. Lucky for us the Seahawks-Vikings game was on so we settled in to watch to kill our layover with football. The only problem with that was the phenomenon that people repeatedly decided to stand directly between me and the TV, literally.
But eventually the wait was over and now it’s time to board our plane. Too bad we didn’t go to the gate earlier, the TV there was too big for people to stand in front of. Next stop, Minneapolis. Bis dann.
